Types of Fishing Trips We Offer

Bay Fishing

Bay fishing offers calm, shallow waters with smooth conditions ideal for beginners and families. It’s a relaxed, steady-action experience with short travel times and an easygoing atmosphere.

Inshore Fishing

Inshore trips keep you close to the coastline, navigating grass flats, marshes, and shoreline structure. Expect consistent bites, light tackle fun, and an enjoyable mix of comfort and excitement.

Offshore Fishing

Offshore trips take you into deeper waters for a high-energy adventure. These charters deliver bigger action, tougher fights, and the thrill of heading far beyond the shoreline for an unforgettable experience.

What You Can Catch in Rockport

Redfish (Red Drum)

Redfish are a Texas coastal favorite known for their power and bronze color. They stay active all year, with the best action from September to November. They put up a strong fight and are excellent to eat.

Speckled Trout

Speckled trout are a South Texas staple and can be caught throughout the year. Summer is the most consistent season, especially around Aransas Bay. They respond well to both live bait and artificial lures and are great table fare.

Flounder

Flounder have a distinct flat shape and are found in shallow, sandy areas. The best season is October through December as they move toward deeper water. They bite well on live bait and slow jigging and are known for their mild, tasty meat.

Black Drum

Black drum are common along the Texas coast and are known for their hard-hitting strength and deep, drumming sound. They can be caught year-round, with peak action from February to April when larger “bull” drums move in. Smaller black drum (often called “puppy drum”) are excellent for eating and take well to shrimp and crab baits.
