It was a productive outing and a great example of how a shorter bay trip can still deliver plenty of action when the timing comes together.

Captain Blake's Notes

It is always a good sign when guests come back for another trip. Ricardo’s group had fished with Captain Blake before, returned for another morning on the water, and left already planning to book again.

The group kept things simple, enjoyed steady black drum action, and made the most of their time on the bay. For anglers planning a Rockport fishing trip, black drum are a great target this time of year. They are fun to catch, great for groups, and a solid option for guests hoping to bring fish home.

Guest FEEDBACK

Ricardo shared that this was their second trip with Captain Blake and said they had an awesome time. He mentioned that they caught their limit of black drum, felt the trip was well worth it, and plan to book with Captain Blake again.

Another successful Rockport fishing trip in the books, with happy returning guests, a full limit of black drum, and a great morning on the water with Texas Crew’d.
